Here is something to do to forget about how rough your humpday was:
Visit Krannert Center for the Performing Arts tonight to see Student Playwrights Outreach Theatre.
"Student Playwrights Outreach Theatre (SPOT) is a collaborative effort
between the UI Department of Theatre and Booker T. Washington Elementary
School. Each year, fourth- and fifth-grade students write stories that
the SPOT team adapts into short plays. SPOT is always full of
high-energy performances and audience interactions. Both children and
adults are sure to be entertained.", from Krannert's website. This sounds super fun, and is free! I see it as an inspiring and fun-filled way to spend pre-Valentine's with your kids or sweetie.
Details: Wed, Feb 13, 7pm, free @ Krannert (500 S. Goodwin, Urbana), Foellinger Great Hall
